Notice and warning regarding unauthorized access to Temairazu Co., Ltd.
We have received a report from the operating company, TEMAIRAZU Co., Ltd., that there has been unauthorized access by a third party to “TEMAIRAZU,” a reservation management system for accommodation facilities that we use.
Additionally, we have received reports from customers who have made reservations that they have received suspicious messages impersonating our hotel.
1. Background and Current Situation
Late at night on Monday, September 21, 2026, Temairazu Co., Ltd. received an inquiry regarding suspicious messages being sent to some of its accommodation guests, prompting an investigation. The company has reported that the only confirmed unauthorized access occurred on September 21, and that the cause was identified and countermeasures completed on September 26.
2. Impact on Guest Information
An investigation by Temairazu Co., Ltd. has confirmed that it cannot be ruled out that some guest information may have been viewed or obtained by a third party.
[We have received reports that the system that was subjected to unauthorized access does not handle credit card information.]
3. Regarding suspicious messages
Suspicious messages arrive via messaging apps such as WhatsApp, email, and SMS. They request things like “confirm your reservation,” “re-enter your card information,” or “make an urgent payment,” and attempt to lure you to a fake website.
The affected bookings confirmed at this time are those made by September 21, 2026, with a stay date of September 21 or later.
Even if your reservation details are accurately stated, this does not necessarily mean that we will contact you from our hotel.
Our hotels will never contact you via messaging apps, email, or SMS to request that you re-enter your card information or make an urgent payment.
4. Requests to Customers
Do not open any links or URLs.
• Do not enter any card information or personal information.
• Do not reply to messages.
• Do not make payments or transfers based on the instructions in the messages.
• For confirmation of your reservation, please contact the official customer service of the hotel where you will be staying or the booking site you used.
If you accidentally enter your card information on a suspicious website or make a payment or transfer using your card, please contact your card company or financial institution immediately.
We sincerely apologize for the great concern and inconvenience this has caused our customers.
If any new information regarding this matter becomes available, we will update this page accordingly.
